DAIRY SERVICE TECHNICIAN – BACK-UP BULK DELIVERY DRIVER
JOB PURPOSE:

The primary focus of this position is to keep our customers’ dairy equipment ‘up and running’, by providing quality and professional service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of our customers’ dairy equipment so they can operate at optimal efficiency and profitability. As well, this position plays a vital role in providing logistical and delivery support for our CO Sales Team and to our Customer’ Dairies, We respect and value our team members and customers and expect the same from our employees. The goal of the Dairy Service Technician, and our Company, is to exceed our customers’ expectations and be a part of a team of people who value each other each and every day. The Dairy Service Technician – Back-up Bulk Delivery Driver reports directly to the GM of Advance Dairy Service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Become an asset to the Dairies by building relationships with the Dairy Owners and employees to find out how we can best serve them.

Develop and maintain knowledge of industry specific equipment

Provide service, maintenance, repair, and installation of Dairy equipment.

Identify and trouble-shoot issues with equipment on the Dairies.

Intentionally develop and improve your skill levels through ongoing training to maintain and advance your proficiencies as a Dairy Service Technician.

Complete service invoices on Field Edge daily.

Maintain the accuracy and organization of the inventory in your company vehicle through consistent inventory transfers.

Be diligent in the care, upkeep, and service of the company vehicle that you would be driving.

As needed, perform the duties of Bulk Delivery Driver by delivering products to new & existing dairy customers, to include occasions of working out of our Kansas facility.

Handle the inventory management of chemicals and teat dips on the bulk delivery truck and at dairy farms through Inventory Transfers and Invoicing in QuickBooks, as well as Excel spreadsheets.

Understand the specific products and usage at each customer’s Dairy farm.

Maintain a clean driving record and Class “A” CDL with Haz-Mat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements, as well as DOT Med Card

Schedule is typically 7:30am to 5pm – Monday through Friday

Once established, On Call service rotation - nights and weekends - 1 week out of approximately 7-8 weeks (TBD)
