The goal of the Forageand Outside Sales Representative, and our company, is to exceed our customers’ expectations and to have a team of people who value each other every day. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for selling, distributing, and growing our product lines and
services to farmers, and dairy farmers in Colorado, Wyoming, and Western
Kansas. Product lines such as:
o Forage Products
o Manure Solutions
o Dairy supplies
o Capital Equipment
• Follow-up after the sale to ensure the success of the product.
• Connect with both existing and prospective customers through multiple
channels, including email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings. Establish
and maintain strong relationships with customers, cultivate new leads, and
ultimately sell our outside range of capital equipment.
• Responsible to make at least 10 in-person sales calls per week.

• Establish and utilize a tracking tool to record the in-person sales calls and
their results – including any necessary follow-up. Report the results to the
Sales Manager weekly.
• Coordinate with the Service Managers to schedule install teams for Capital
Equipment Jobs. Maintain structured communication with the Service
Managers to stay current as to the status of these jobs.
• Report progress and needed follow up of the Capital Equipment Jobs to the
Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
• Be diligent in the care, upkeep, and service of the company vehicle that you
would be driving.
• ‘On call’ for supply emergencies 1 week out of 5-7 (TBD)
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Hours are generally 7:30 – 5:00 Monday – Friday
