The Kansas Convoy

Our operations in Kansas reached a new milestone this month!

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, The Dairy Depot left home with 2 trucks loaded by the Warehouse Team to stock our brand-new facility in Garden City, Kansas. We hauled tanks, chemicals, inflations, and pumps for delivery to Kansas dairies, as well as a forklift for use at the warehouse.

The team arrived at our Dairy Depot-KS office early on Monday morning (8/1/2022). Members of the Operations Department as well as Sales and Service from Colorado came together to meet our first delivery truck with IBA chemicals. We unloaded the stock for the warehouse and made ready for our FIRST truckload of chemicals from IBA.

Once the truck was unloaded, and our Peterbilt flatbed reloaded, our team headed out to Rio Vista Dairy in Coolidge, KS, our first “full-line” customer in Kansas. Three days and over 60 man-hours later, our installation was complete, and our pumps, chemicals, tubing, and Vision inflations were up and running.

But we weren’t done yet! We still had more inflations to help install at High Plains Dairy in Satanta, KS on August 4th, bringing the total inflations installed that week to over 270 sets.

Our service techs, Carlos Prisco, Wendy Lucas, and Kody Vanderwal, along with our Kansas GM Steve Hall worked long hours in beautiful Southwest Kansas to bring our new customers the service America’s dairies deserve with Honesty, Integrity, Quality and Professionalism.
